Sewing level: Absolute beginner

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: The pattern piece has been split (to fit on the A0 sheet) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: This contemporary scarf, with an opening that allows one end to be elegantly threaded through the other, looks best in quilted fabric. The design calls for a material with some body so it holds its shape and the opening remains well defined. Prefer a softer, more casual version? A wool blend or bouclé with light interfacing can also work beautifully, as long as the fabric is sturdy enough to keep the opening in shape.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm wide fabric: 55 cm.

Sizing: One size.

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step illustrated instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (15 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet) // Layers: No // Projector file: Yes.

Note: Seam allowances are included in this pattern. The copy shop file we print for you shows both the cutting and stitching lines.
