– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?
Suggested fabrics: Knit fabrics with 40% stretch or more. Fabrics that stretch horizontally and vertically are recommended. View A lends itself better to medium/heavy weight knits. Anything too flimsy won’t hold its structure as well on the front twist detail.
Fabric requirements: If you're using a patterned fabric with a repeat you'd like to match, you may need more fabric.
Long sleeve View A: 110 cm (45") wide fabric: 120 - 200 cm (1.3 - 2.1 yd) // 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 90 - 150 cm (0.9 - 1.6 yd).
Long sleeve View B: 110 cm (45") wide fabric: 140 - 230 cm (1.5 - 2.5 yd) // 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 80 - 170 cm (0.8 - 1.8 yd).
Short sleeve View A: 110 cm (45") wide fabric: 90 - 180 cm (0.9 - 1.9 yd) // 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 70 - 140 cm (0.7 - 1.5 yd).
Short sleeve View B: 110 cm (45") wide fabric: 100 - 190 cm (1 - 2 yd) // 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 80 - 170 cm (0.8 - 1.8 yd).
Sizing: A – N (approx. UK 6 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.
This pattern has been drafted for a height of 5'7".
This pattern has two cup size options: a B cup and a C/D cup. To find your sewing cup size, measure your high bust and full bust. The difference between the two measurements will tell you your cup size.
5 cm (2") difference = B cup
7.5 cm (3") difference = C cup
10 cm (4") difference = D cup
If you are between the B cup and C/D cup options, the designer would try a toile with the B cup first.
Notions: Optional: twin needle; 2 cm (3/4") length of elastic for the back hem of View A.
PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (35 pages for each cup size); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets for each cup size) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: No.
