Buy the Men's Trigg Shorts sewing pattern from Elbe Textiles. The Trigg Shorts are a basic, casual pair of shorts finishing above the knee. They feature an elasticated waistband with a drawstring, side pockets, and back patch pockets. This pattern is designed for woven fabrics but could also be made in a stretch fabric.

Suggested fabrics: 

Main: Tencel, chambray cotton, light or medium weight denim, boardshort fabric, medium or heavy weight linen. Can also work in a bottom weight stretch fabric.

Lining (pockets): Light or medium weight cotton or similar woven fabric.

Fabric requirements: If you're using a patterned fabric with a repeat you'd like to match, you may need more fabric.

120 cm (47") wide fabric: 110 - 160 cm (1.2 - 1.7 yd).

150 cm (60") wide fabric: 80 - 160 cm (0.9 - 1.7 yd).

Lining: 30 cm (0.3 yd).

Sizing: Men's A – M. Please check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Two 2.5 cm (1") squares of interfacing; 5 cm (2") wide knitted or woven elastic (avoid braided elastic) // Optional: two sets of eyelets with an outer diameter of 1.2 cm and inner diameter of 0.7 cm (or use buttonholes); 110-190 cm (43-75") cord for drawstring (or make drawstring from fabric).
