Suggested fabrics: Whether you decide to piece your material or use whole yardage, the designer recommends light to medium weight woven fabrics with no stretch such as cotton lawn or poplin, quilting cotton, lightweight canvas, linen and linen blends for your quilt top and backing. You may also use a found quilt or pre-quilted fabric yardage rather than quilting your own material.

Fabric requirements: If not using pre-quilted fabric, you will need these amounts for quilt top, wadding/batting, and quilt backing. Additional yardage may be required for print matching or piecing. 

45" (115 cm) wide fabric (XS-2X only): 2 1/8 - 2 1/2 yd (2 - 2.3 m).

60" (155 cm) wide fabric: 1 3/4 - 2 1/4 yd (1.6 - 2 m).

Sizing: XS – 6X (approx. UK 6 – 38, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 5/8 yd (0.6 m) of 100% cotton fabric for making bias binding + optional bias tape maker OR 13 yd (12 m) of 1" (2.5 cm) pre-made double-fold bias tape.
