Camimade Villers Jacket

Buy the Villers Jacket sewing pattern from Camimade. The Villers pattern mixes references from the classic chore jacket and denim jacket. It is packed with lovely details and offers two lengths as well as three different collar options. The wide Peter Pan collar is a real showstopper, while the classic collar and mandarin collar are more discreet. Villers has production flat felled seams for longevity.

Suggested fabrics: Medium to heavy weight cotton fabrics like denim, twill, duck or canvas. The jacket can also be made in cotton corduroy. Choose a fabric that doesn't stretch. 

Fabric requirements: All fabric yardages were calculated for a directional fabric. If you need to pattern match your fabric, buy more fabric than indicated below.

View A: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 1.9 - 2.3 m (2 1/8 - 2 1/2 yd) // 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 2.6 - 2.9 m (2 7/8 - 3 1/8 yd).

View B: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 1.7 - 2.1 m (1 7/8 - 2 1/4 yd) // 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 2.2 - 2.5 m (2 3/8 - 2 3/4 yd).

View C: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 1.6 - 2 m (1 3/4 - 2 1/4 yd) // 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 1.9 - 2.2 m (2 1/8 - 2 3/8 yd).

Sizing: A – H (approx. UK 6/8 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is drafted for a height of 1.65 m (5'5") and a B cup (5 cm / 2" difference between full bust and high bust).

Notions: 50-60 cm (16"-20") of 3.5 cm (1 1/2") wide bias binding (make your own or buy ready made); buttons, 9 for short length or 10 for long length; approx. 0.75 m (7/8 yd) of fusible interfacing (some heavy weight denim fabrics don't require fusing).
