Buy the 153 Unisex Siberian Parka sewing pattern from Folkwear. This extra-roomy, easy-to-sew parka pulls on easily over your head when the cold winds start to blow. Based on a smock worn by men in western Siberia, Folkwear has added pockets to keep your hands toasty, too. This type of parka would traditionally be made of tanned leather, but you can make it using any outerwear fabric, from serious wool to up-to-date polar fleece. And, made of sweatshirt fleece, it’s the perfect cover-up for those chilly nights at the beach.

Fabric requirements: Requirements given are for fabrics without nap, pile, or one-way design.

45″ (115 cm) wide fabric: 3 1/8 – 4 3/8 yd (3.1 – 4 m) // 60″ (150 cm) wide fabric: 2 3/4 – 3 1/8 yd (2.5 – 2.86 m).

Sizing: XS – XL (approx. UK 6 – 20). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.
