Buy the Blossom Wrap Dress sewing pattern from Stitched in Wonderland. The Blossom Wrap Dress is a fitted dress perfect for parties or everyday wear. It features a lined bodice, hidden pockets and fastens with ties at the back. The pattern includes three sleeve length options.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabrics such as cotton (poplin, lawn, double gauze), viscose or linen. Stiffer fabrics will give a more voluminous, dramatic look. Lighter fabrics will be more floaty. The bodice can be lined in the same fabric if not too thick or alternatively use a light cotton or satin fabric.

Fabric requirements: 

Short sleeve: 115 cm (44″) wide fabric: 3.4 – 6.2 m (3 3/4 – 6 7/8 yd) // 135 cm (54″) wide fabric: 2.7 – 4.4 m (2 7/8 – 4 3/4 yd) // 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 2.5 – 3.6 m (2 3/4 – 4 yd).

Mid sleeve: 115 cm (44″) wide fabric: 3.5 – 6.4 m (3 7/8 – 7 yd) // 135 cm (54″) wide fabric: 2.8 – 4.5 m (3 – 5 yd) // 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 2.6 – 4 m (2 7/8 – 4 3/8 yd).

Long sleeve: 115 cm (44″) wide fabric: 3.8 – 6.7 m (4 1/8 – 7 3/8 yd) // 135 cm (54″) wide fabric: 3 – 5.1 m (3 3/8 – 5 5/8 yd) // 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 2.9 – 4 m (3 1/8 – 4 3/8 yd).

Bodice lining: 115 cm (44″) wide fabric: 0.7 – 1.1 m (3/4 – 1 1/4 yd) // 135 cm (54″) wide fabric: 0.5 – 1 m (5/8 – 1 1/8 yd) // 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 0.5 – 0.8 m (5/8 – 7/8 yd).

Note: If you are using 115 cm (44″) wide fabric, the ties will need to be pieced for sizes I – K.

Sizing: A – K with B, C and D cups (approx. UK 6 – 24/26, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Note: When choosing which size dress to make, use your high bust measurement. Once you have identified this, you can choose the cup size that is closest to your bust measurement. Please note that these cup sizes will not relate to your bra cup size.

Notions: Approx. 1 m/yd of 6 mm (1/4″) wide elastic.
