Buy the Simplicity S8980 dresses pattern, it’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. Misses’ Dresses and Lined Coat or Jacket. 1950s vintage. Dress falls below-knee, is fitted with front and back darts and side zipper fastening. Narrow belt. Coat or jacket is loose-fitting with grown-on sleeves, turn-back cuffs and patch pockets with button feature.

Notions: Thread. Two 5/8″ buttons. A,B: One 12″ invisible zipper, 1 1/4 yd. of 1″ wide grosgrain ribbon, 1 5/8 yd. of hem tape (opt), two hooks and eyes, one hook closure.
