Buy the S9914 Vintage 1960’s Beach Cover-Up & Robe sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. Vintage Simplicity 1960s beach cover-up and robe. Collarless, above knee-length beach cover-up or robe has slightly lowered round neckline, long raglan sleeves gathered with elastic casings forming self-ruffles and optional patch pockets. View 1, 2 and 3 with front button closing have optional rick-rack trim. View 4, 5 and 6 with optional embroidered eyelet edging trim has front gathered to yoke with button closing.

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or shrinkage.

Sizing: A (S-M-L) which is approx. UK sizes A (6/8 – 14/16) based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. Bias seam binding (opt.), one pkg. of bias fold tape, 3/4 yd. (0.7m) of 1/4″ (6mm) elastic. Also for View 1,2,3: Five 3/4″ (2cm) buttons, 2 1/3 yds. (2.0m) of jumbo rick rack (opt.). Also for view 4,5,6: Two 3.4″ (2cm) buttons, 2 1/8 yds. (1.9m) of 1″ (2.5cm) pre-gathered embroidered eyelet edging (opt.).
