Buy the S9891 Skirt sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. Cargo skirts with drawstring waist band Side seam pockets with flaps and snap button closures. Skirts B and C have patch pockets and back vents.

Suggested fabrics: Denim, Nylons, Poplin, Rayon, Sateen, Tencel, Twill. Interfacing: Lightweight Fusible.

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or shrinkage.

Sizing: H5 (6-8-10-12-14) U5 (16-18-20-22-24), which is approx. UK sizes H5 (4/6 – 10), U5 (12– 20/22) based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A,B,C: Three 7/8″ (2.2cm) D-Rings, 1 3/4 yds. (1.6m) of elastic cording, pair of 1/2″ (1.3cm) grommets, one cord stopper, pair of 5/8″ (1.5cm) buttons or heavy-duty snaps (optional). Also for B,C: 3/4 yd. (0.7m) of 3/8″ (1cn) elastic.
