Buy the S9892 Jeans sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. Low-waisted jeans. Pockets have two closure options, a front fly zipper or button fly closure. View B has contrast outer panels, yoke and waistband. Optional top stitching.

Suggested fabrics: Chambray, Chino, Cotton Blends, Denim, Linen Blends, Poplin, Twill. Lining: Cotton Blends, Polyester Blends. Interfacing: Lightweight Fusible.

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or shrinkage.

Sizing: K5 (8-10-12-14-16) Y5 (18-20-22-24-26) which is approx. UK sizes K5 (6-12), Y5 (14-24). based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A,B: 5/8″ (1.5cm) buttons (jeans buttons optional): five for A, one for B. Also for B: One 7″ (18cm) zipper (cut to fit).
