Buy the S9922 Corsets sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. Slim fit corset has square neckline, boning, side zipper closure and contrast variations. Corset with straps or strapless and has optional back ties.

Suggested fabrics: Brocade, Chambray, Chintz, Cotton Blends, Damask, Dupioni, Sateen, Satin, Shantung, Taffeta. Lining: Cotton Blends, Polyester Blends. Interfacing: Lightweight Fusible.

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or shrinkage.

Sizing: H5 (6-8-10-12-14) U5 (16-18-20-22-24), which is approx. UK sizes H5 (4/6 – 10), U5 (12– 20/22) based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A,B,C: 1 1/2 yds. (1.4m) of 1/4″ (6mm) featherweight boning, one 9″ (23cm) separating zipper (cut to fit). Also for A,B: 3 1/8 yds. (2.8m) of 1/4″ – 3/8″ (6mm – 1cm) ribbon. Also for A,C: Pair of 3/8 (1cm) bra sliders and rings.
