Buy the Child/Teen Nova Coat and Jacket sewing pattern from PaperCute by Papercut Patterns. Keep your little ones warm and cosy with Papercut’s iconic cocoon coat. Choose a lightweight fabric for a spring/summer version, or a cosy wool for cooler weather. The fully lined Nova features angled seaming with pockets hidden in the front and is a pattern for every season. Choose between cropped or long sleeves, the full length coat or the shorter jacket. It’ll be their fave go-to piece all year round.

Suggested fabrics: Can be made in any woven fabric, from a light cotton, linen or rayon right through to a heavy wool. The choice is yours!
Fabric requirements:
Long: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 1.25 – 1.8 m (1.4 – 2 yd) // 114 cm (45″) wide fabric: 1.4 – 2.15 m (1.5 – 2.35 yd).
Short: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 1.15 – 1.65 m (1.25 – 1.8 yd) // 114 cm (45″) wide fabric: 1.3 – 2.1 m (1.45 – 2.3 yd).
Lining – long: 114 cm (45″) wide fabric: 1 – 1.7 m (1.1 – 1.85 yd).
Lining – short: 114 cm (45″) wide fabric: 0.9 – 1.5 m (1 – 1.65 yd).
Sizing: 3 – 13 years. Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: 0.4 m (0.45 yd) of 114 cm (45″) wide fusing.
