Buy the Lilja Dress, Pinafore and Blouse sewing pattern from Named. Lilja is the much-anticipated woven version of Named’s bestselling Kielo pattern! This charmingly unique wrap garment comes in three different variations: an ankle-length dress, a pinafore dress and a blouse. You can sew any of the variations either sleeveless or with bohemian, ¾-length puff sleeves. You can also choose a round or square neckline, or a combination of both. The round neckline can be finished with either a facing or a binding with a back vent and ties. This versatile garment is both simple to sew and easy to wear.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: Some of the pattern pieces have been split (to fit on the A0 sheets) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Choose a light or medium weight non-stretch fabric. You can opt for a low drape shirting, such as poplin or light seersucker, or choose a fabric with drape, for example crepe or rayon challis. If your variation features bindings, you can cut them from your fabric or use a pre-made binding.

Fabric requirements: The fabric requirements include a 5% allowance for shrinkage. Note that the fabric consumption may be greater for fabrics with a pattern and for fabrics that need to be cut in one direction.

Dress: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 215 – 365 cm (2 3/8 – 4 yd) // 115 cm (45″) wide fabric (sizes 32-46 only): 285 – 405 cm (3 1/8 – 4 3/8 yd).

Pinafore: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 190 – 315 cm (2 1/8 – 3 1/2 yd) // 115 cm (45″) wide fabric (sizes 32-46 only): 240 – 310 cm (2 5/8 – 3 3/8 yd).

Blouse: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 145 – 225 cm (1 5/8 – 2 1/2 yd) // 115 cm (45″) wide fabric (sizes 32-46 only): 200 – 230 cm (2 1/8 – 2 1/2 yd).

Sizing: EU 32 – 56 (approx. UK 6 – 28, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
