Buy the M8334 bags sewing pattern from McCalls. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. Large cross body bags have zipper and decorative tab closures. Details like metal hardware, inside pockets, fringe, tassels, chain, and metal rings create a polished look. Bags A and B are 14.5″H x 13″W (37 x 33 cm). Bags C and D are 12″H x 10″W x 6″D (30.5 x 25.5 x 15cm).

Suggested fabrics: A,B,C,D: Cotton/cotton blends, lightweight home dec. fabrics, chenille. Contrasts A,B,C,D: Faux leather. Lining: Cotton/cotton blends. Interfacing A,B,C,D: One pkg. of fusible foam stabiliser – 58″ x 18″ (92cm x 46cm) OR 20″ (51cm) craft weight interfacing if using a heavier weight fabric.

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way designs fabrics or shrinkage.
