Sew Over It Luna Pyjamas

Buy the Luna Pyjamas sewing pattern from Sew Over It. Snuggle up in style in a new pair of made-to-measure PJs! The Luna Pyjamas are an easy pattern to make, so perfect for beginners.

The trousers have no outside leg seam, which makes them super comfy to wear and speedy to sew! At the waist, the trousers are hemmed to create an elastic channel, making them easy to fit.

The top is a simple wrap. The tie threads through the side seam and wraps around the back. You can choose to tie it at the side or to wrap it around a further time to create more shape at the waist. The neckline is finished with a facing and that’s it – so simple!

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabrics with drape, such as rayon, viscose, cotton lawn, cotton voile, double gauze and linen.

Fabric requirements:

Sizes 6 – 20

1.15 m wide fabric: 4.1 - 4.8 m // 1.40 m wide fabric: 2.8 - 4.0 m.

Sizes 18 – 30

1.15 m wide fabric: 4.8 - 5.8 m // 1.40 m wide fabric: 4.2 - 5.2 m.

Sizing: UK 6 – 20 and UK 18 – 30 (approx. UK 6 – 20 and UK 20 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size charts and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is split into two different blocks. The 6 – 20 size range is drafted for a B cup. The 18 – 30 size range is drafted for a D cup.

Notions: 2 m of bias seam tape interfacing; 1.5 m of 2 cm elastic.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4 print-at-home pattern (45 pages for sizes 6-20, 60 pages for sizes 18-30); US letter print-at-home pattern (54 pages for sizes 6-20, 66 pages for sizes 18-30); A0 copy shop pattern (3 sheets for sizes 6-20, 4 sheets for sizes 18-30).
