Buy the 5811 Skirt sewing pattern from Burda. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. Pull-on slim skirts with elasticated waists, in three lengths. Slotted ties at side are ruched to create an asymmetric hem. Designed for two way stretch knits only.

Suggested fabrics: Two-way stretch jersey only.

Sizing: A (8-10-12-14-16-18-20-22), which is approx. UK sizes A (6 – 18) based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A,B,C: Twin needle. Elastic 3/4″ (2cm) X 7/8 – 1 1/4 yds. (0.65 – 0.95m). Cord drawstring: A: 1 1/2 yds. (1.25m), B: 1 3/4 yds. (1.55m), C: 2 yds. (1.85m).
