Buy the 6478 jackets sewing pattern from Burda. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. Two loose-cut blousons, one chic and one sporty. Choose between a stand collar or a hood. Both have a zip fastening, zip pockets, elastic at the hem and sleeve hem. A fun separate to mix and match!

Suggested fabrics: Cotton satin, wools, micro fibre fabrics, B lining: mesh lining

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or shrinkage.

Sizing: A (6-8-10-12-14-16-18), which is approx. UK sizes A (4/6 – 14), based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A,B: Zipper 14cm x 2. Elastic 3.5cm x 130 – 160cm. Separating zipper size 6 -16; 50cm, size 18; 55cm. B: Metal eyelets x 2, Cord drawstring 1.20 – 1.30m, Bias binding;  0.7cm x 3.30 – 3.50m.
