Buy the Child/Baby Bubble Dress sewing pattern from Oliver + S. Elevate the dress to new heights! This fully lined dress has built-in cap sleeves, a gathered skirt with scalloped side seams, and an elasticised hem for a bubble effect. The dress can also be made without scalloped sides.

Suggested fabrics: Light- to medium-weight non-stretch fabrics like cotton broadcloth, batiste or calico, and lightweight linen, denim, chambray, or seersucker. Lining: very lightweight non-stretch fabrics like batiste, voile, or broadcloth.

Fabric requirements: 44″ – 45″ (112 – 114 cm) wide fabric:
0 – 24 months: Dress, 5/8 – 7/8 yard (0.6 – 0.8 m) // Lining, 5/8 yard (0.6 m).

2 – 5 years: Dress, 1 yard (0.9 m) // Lining, 3/4 – 1 yard (0.7 – 0.9 m).

Sizing: 0 – 24 months and 2 – 5 years. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread, three 3/8″ or 1/2″ buttons, 1 yard of 1/4″ elastic, 1/8 yard of interfacing.
