Buy the Baby/Child/Teen Alice Dress and Top sewing pattern from Bobbins and Buttons. Alice is a semi-fitted dress or top with a deep ruffle that runs over the shoulder. The dress has curved front seams with in-seam pockets and fastens with an invisible centre back zipper. The top has a keyhole back neck opening finished with a button and hand stitched loop. Both can be made with or without sleeves and ruffles.

Suggested fabrics: Cotton poplin, broadcloth, chambray, double gauze, cotton voile and other medium weight woven fabrics. For softer ruffles, choose a double gauze or cotton voile. For crisp statement ruffles, choose cotton poplin, linen or broadcloth.

Fabric requirements: 

Dress: 112 cm (44″) wide fabric: 1.65 – 2.65 m (1.8 – 2.9 yd) // 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 1.4 – 2 m (1.55 – 2.1 yd).

Top: 112 cm (44″) wide fabric: 1.1 – 1.6 m (1.2 – 1.75 yd) // 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 0.7 – 1.35 m (0.75 -1.5 yd).

Sizing: 12 months – 13 years. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Fusible interfacing (optional depending on what fabric you choose); invisible zipper (dress); small button (top).
