Silk Cami

Really love the fit of this Silk Cami and it is so nice and cool to wear. One of my most favourite things about it though is the strap placement – it is perfectly placed so your bra straps don’t show ? It is a pet peeve of mine when this happens and this was one of the reasons I picked this pattern.

I only JUST was able to squeeze the cami out of the last of this viscose twill fabric that I got years ago from Blackbird Fabrics. Absolutely adore this floral fabric and personally think it pairs perfectly with the pattern.

Made the size 12 enough though my body measurements fitted a 10 as wanted more ease especially in the bust. Really pleased I did this! Lengthen the body by 2” and took an extra 5/8” out of the straps when sewing them together due to having small shoulders. Top stitched all the way around the arm holes and neckline as found that the facing was popping out otherwise.
