Buy the Dunga Dress sewing pattern from Stitched in Wonderland. The Dunga Dress is an easy to wear, relaxed fit dungaree dress. Choose from two different length options and either patch or hidden pockets. It’s designed for layering over T-shirts or jumpers, making it perfect for all seasons.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Note: If you are using the A0 copy shop version, you will need to extend the strap pattern piece by 40.5 cm (16″) as directed in the instructions before cutting your fabric.

Suggested fabrics: Medium to heavy weight woven fabrics such as cotton poplin, denim, corduroy, linen, canvas or wool.

Fabric requirements: These requirements are based on using shop bought bias binding. If you wish to make your own bias binding, you will need approx. 50 cm (1/2 yd) more fabric. But depending on the cutting layout, you may have enough left over between pattern pieces. You can use less fabric by piecing your bias binding. Instructions are included for how to do this.

Midi length: 115 cm (44″) wide fabric: 1.9 – 2 m (2 1/8 – 2 1/4 yd) // 135 cm (54″) wide fabric: 1.2 – 2 m (1 1/4 – 2 1/4 yd) // 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 1 – 2 m (1 1/8 – 2 1/4 yd).

Mini length: 115 cm (44″) wide fabric: 1.6 – 1.8 m (1 3/4 – 2 yd) // 135 cm (54″) wide fabric: 1.1 – 1.8 m (1 1/8 – 2 yd) // 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 0.9 – 1.8 m (1 – 2 yd).

Sizing: A – K (approx. UK 6 – 24/26). Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 1.5 cm (1/2″) wide bias binding, 1.5 – 1.8 m (1 5/8 – 2 yd) (bought, or instructions included to make your own); a small piece (30 cm x 75 cm / 12″ x  30″) of lining fabric for pocket bags if doing the hidden pocket option.
