Trending: Co-ord Sewing Patterns

Co-ords have graced the high street for the past couple of years, and there are amazing sewing patterns out there so you can create your own.   For anyone thinking, I’ve never heard of a ‘co-ord’, it’s an outfit made out of one fabric. There are infinite opportunities with the patterns that you already own, but if you fancy getting stuck into something new check out our edit.

Friday Pattern Company – Saguaro Set

The Saguaro set is a two piece made up of a cropped top with elasticated waist and wide legged bottoms. This is the perfect project if you are relitively new to sewing or fancy a speedy sew. The sleeves are grown on wth a deep v at the front. Make this in linen for a summer holiday or in something like a crepe and wear to an event. This has been a frim favourite in the sewing community.

Papercut Patterns – Estella Set

The estella set is such a fun and veratile make. The great thing about this set is that it comes with multiple ways of tying the wrap feature and you can check them all out here. The skirt has an elasticated waist making it another great project for less confident makers. You can choose between length options for the skirt and there is also a dress version too.

The Patterns Room – Amelie Set:

The Amelie set is a a simple top and skirt set that can be worn sepearately or together. With and elasticate band around the top of the stop and skirt and simple ties, it’s a great option for someone new to sewing.

Marilla Walker – The Mercury Collection:

The Mercury collection is a cult classic pattern and one that many of you have made. The simple shapes for the top and bottom are interchangable in your wardrobe worn together they are a match made in heaven!

Liberty Patterns – Florence Palazzo:

This cheeky little number looks like a jumpsuit but in fact is a two piece from Liberty patterns. There are two top options as well as a choice of short or trouser. I particualty love option B with the lapels. Now all you need is a Liberty Fabric to make it in!

Simplcity 8927:

This is an absolute cracker of a set from Mimi G for Simplicity. It’s a simple button down top with tie detail. The panelled skirt has a side fastening and you can pick from two skirt lengths.

Maven Patterns – The Simone Set:

This super set from Maven patterns can be made to wear as a pair of pjs or and an outfit you wear out the house. We love the versatility of it and and the wealth of making options available. It just depends if you want to stay in or go out…

Common Stitch  – Pipit Loungewear set:

The Pipit loungwear set is so good it should be worn out the house. This is the perfect set for a holiday and we love the idea that you can come home wearing it and go straight to bed in it!

Vogue 1486:

If you are looking for something to make for and event then the Vogue 1486 is well worth having a look at. It’s simple silhouette with interesting cut lines and is sure to make a statment.
