Nice trousers, poor instructions

The trousers themselves are great, but only managed to make them great with a lot of problem solving and figuring things out by myself. The instructions and pattern pieces really aren't that great.
Firstly, I printed the 30" pattern and the waist was 32" - good thing I did a mockup and could adjust on the final piece.
There are a lot of typos in the instructions, and tricky things aren't made clear - a bit of advice on orientation of some pieces would've been helpful and prevented re-working sections. 1cm seam allowances also aren't great.
The worst thing though is the waistband - it is just a straight rectangle and fits incredibly poorly. Doesn't sit right at all! There needs to be a curve in the pattern piece - I've had to follow another tutorial to draft my own from scratch.
A more minor point is that the hem on front/back doesn't end up being aligned, and I also thing that the "shorten/lengthen here" marker isn't in a good place. I did a mockup of shorts and the hems were just at complete wrong angles to each other.
Finally the pocket bags are very small/shallow. If you're following the pattern you should definitely make these bigger.

Overall I'd say you end up with nice trousers, but it's a shame because for the price I think the instructions are just very poor. Even the fact the seam allowances are all 1cm on the pattern pieces - so not much room for any nice, strong, good quality seams! It's good enough as a guide but if you want to make a good quality garment you'll have to figure a lot of things out and make improvements yourself.
