Suggested fabrics: Light- to medium-weight woven fabrics such as cotton lawn, chambray, shirting, seersucker, broderie anglaise, linen, viscose (rayon), crêpe de chine. If you’re making the flounce, choose a drapey fabric to keep it soft and flowy.

Fabric requirements: Fabric must be at least 130 cm (51") wide for knee-length version, or 150 cm (60") wide for midi-length version.

Knee-length version: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 2.2 m (2 1/2 yd), or 0.2 m (1/4 yd) less without flounce // 130 cm (51") wide fabric: 2.7 m (2 7/8 yd), or 0.4 m (3/8 yd) less without flounce.

Midi-length version: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 2.5 m (2 3/4 yd), or 0.2 m (1/4 yd) less without flounce.

Sizing: UK 6 – 20. Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 0.8 m (1 yd) interfacing (similar weight to your fabric); 12-18 mm (1/2"-3/4") wide buttons, 14 for knee-length version or 15 for midi-length version.
