Suggested fabrics: Light- to medium-weight woven fabrics such as cotton lawn, shirting, quilting cotton, flannel, double gauze and viscose (rayon).

Fabric requirements: 

140 cm (56") wide fabric: Shorts, 1 - 1.2 m (1 1/8 - 1 3/8 yd) // Full-length trousers, 2.1 - 2.6 m (2 3/8 - 2 7/8 yd).

115 cm (45") wide fabric: Shorts, 1 - 1.3 m (1 1/8 - 1 1/2 yd) // Full-length trousers, 2.5 - 3.1 m (2 3/4 - 3 3/8 yd).

Sizing: UK 4 - 34. Please check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Your low waist measurement in 25 mm (1") wide elastic; 2 large safety pins // Drawstring version: small scrap of iron-on interfacing.
