Tilly and the Buttons Françoise Dress

Buy the Françoise Dress sewing pattern from Tilly and the Buttons. Françoise is a chic yet easy-to-wear mini dress, inspired by sixties fashion yet always in style. The design features striking French darts and raglan seams. Choose from two-piece three-quarter length sleeves or a sleeveless version, with an optional collar and waist tab.

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight cotton, sateen or light twill, preferably with a bit of stretch; linen; ponte roma. The sleeveless version would also be great in gabardine, quilting weight cotton, light wool or brocade.

Fabric requirements: 

Version with sleeves + collar: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 1.8 m (2 yd) // 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 2.4 m (2 5/8 yd).

Sleeveless version without collar: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 1.5 m (1 5/8 yd) // 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 1.7 m (1 7/8 yd). 

Sizing: UK 6 – 20. Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
