The Patterns Room Daphnie Dress

Buy the Daphnie Dress sewing pattern from The Patterns Room. This A-line dress is fitted at the bust, which is shaped with darts, then gradually flares towards the hem. It closes with an invisible zip at the centre back and has practical in-seam pockets. The pattern includes three dress lengths and three sleeve versions. You can choose under knee, midi or asymmetrical length. The asymmetrical hem is beautifully curved, sitting under the knee at the front and below the knee at the back. Choose long sleeves, short sleeves or sleeveless.

Suggested fabrics: Woven fabrics with a slight natural stretch such as crepe, poplin or velvet.

Fabric requirements: 150 cm (59″) wide fabric: Under knee with sleeves, 180 - 260 cm (71" - 102") // Midi sleeveless, 200 - 240 cm (79" - 95") // Under knee or asymmetrical sleeveless, 150 - 200 cm (59" - 79").

Sizing: 10 – 18 (approx. UK 8 – 14, based on our standardised size chart) or 20 – 28 (approx. UK 16 – 24, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart.

Notions: Invisible zipper, 30 cm (12"); fusible interfacing for facings.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions (text only); A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (40 pages for sizes 10-18 or 50 pages for sizes 20-28); A0 copy shop pattern (1 long sheet for either size). This pattern has layers so you can choose which size(s) to print.
