Buy the Pea Coat sewing pattern from The Maker's Atelier. A double-breasted jacket with an optional cuff detail. This jacket can be lined, unlined or finished with raw edges. The back has a half belt and two vents. The unlined and raw-edged versions require some sewing experience; the lined version is a bit trickier.

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight coating fabrics. Wools, wool melton, tweeds, velvet, corduroys.
Fabric requirements:
Main / plain sleeve: 120 cm (48″) wide fabric: 2.4 - 2.7 m (2 3/4 - 3 yd) // 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 1.8 - 2.3 m (2 - 2 1/2 yd).
Main / cuffed sleeve: 120 cm (48″) wide fabric: 2.6 - 3 m (3 - 3 1/2 yd) // 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 2.2 - 2.7 m (2 1/2 - 3 yd).
Lining / plain sleeve: 120 cm (48″) wide fabric: 1.5 - 2 m (1 3/4 - 2 1/4 yd).
Lining / cuffed sleeve: 120 cm (48″) wide fabric: 1.3 - 1.7 m (1 1/2 - 2 yd).
Sizing: 4 – 22 (approx. UK 4 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: Optional interfacing, 1 m; 4 large buttons and 1 snap fastener or 4 snap fasteners.
PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (44 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (3 sheets) // Layers: No // Projector file: No. Please note you must print all sizes to ensure no pieces or markings are lost.
