Suggested fabrics: Medium to heavy weight knit fabrics such as ponte di Roma, French terry and sweatshirt knits.

Fabric requirements:

Sizes 6 – 20

Requirements are based on a long sleeve, knee length dress. For the above knee version, subtract 0.15 m from the requirements for sizes 6-14 and 0.3 m for sizes 16-20. For the 3/4 sleeve version, subtract 0.10 m for all sizes of the 115 cm requirements and for sizes 6-14 of the 140 cm requirements. 16-20 remain as stated. Subtract both lengths for an above knee and 3/4 sleeve version.

Version 1: 1.15 m wide fabric: 3.0 - 3.1 m // 1.40 m wide fabric: 2.0 - 2.8 m.

Version 2: 1.15 m wide fabric: 2.9 - 3.0 m // 1.40 m wide fabric: 2.0 - 2.6 m.

Version 3: 1.15 m wide fabric: 3.0 - 3.2 m // 1.40 m wide fabric: 2.0 - 2.6 m.

Sizes 18 – 30

Requirements are based on a long sleeve, knee length dress. For the above knee version, subtract 0.3 m from the requirements. For the 3/4 sleeve version, subtract 0.15 m from the requirements. Subtract both lengths for an above knee and 3/4 sleeve version.

Version 1: 1.40 m wide fabric: 3.0 - 3.2 m.

Version 2: 1.40 m wide fabric: 3.0 - 3.1 m.

Version 3: 1.40 m wide fabric: 3.3 - 3.4 m.

Sizing: UK 6 – 20 and UK 18 – 30 (approx. UK 6 – 20 and UK 20 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size charts and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is split into two different blocks. The 6 – 20 size range is drafted for a B cup. The 18 – 30 size range is drafted for a D cup.

Notions: 25 cm (sizes 6-20) or 30 cm (sizes 18-30) of clear elastic/ribbon or seam tape interfacing to stabilise the shoulders.
