Buy the Frankie Jacket sewing pattern from Sew Over It. The Frankie Jacket is an on-trend chore jacket with a Sew Over It twist. To create a boxy jacket that works for all shapes, the designer has included cut-away darts at the waist, to bring it in from the bust point. The 18-30 size band also includes a bust dart for extra shaping.

Embrace the utilitarian look with Version 1, featuring a sharp collar, darted sleeve and angled patch pockets to keep your hands warm. Version 2 is more feminine with vintage touches: a Peter Pan style collar, rounded flap patch pockets and a fuller sleeve gathered into a narrow cuff. Both collars are constructed with a partial collar stand to sit just right, and the jacket is fully lined for a beautiful finish on the inside.

The Frankie Jacket is hip-length, perfect to wear with the Ultimate Jeans. Button your jacket up all the way for a really neat look, or leave it open to show a bit of lining.

Not convinced pattern is right?!

I made a size 18 curvy pattern and lengthened it by 1" as I'm 5'11" however the bottom of the jacket went completely wrong. The lining hem facing was too short for the lining and then this whole lined section was too short to join to the jacket hem. I've managed to make a wearable garment by bodging it. But the inside bottom corner doesn't look right despite following all the diagrams exactly as the instructions.
Its a shame as its a good looking jacket and the collar went well.
The interface front pattern was missing and had to be traced from the front pattern itself and the pattern letters don't match the instructions. As previous review said the notches in the shoulder are missing from the pattern.
Unfortunately there's very little help or tips on the Internet. It said intermediate beginner but I wouldn't attempt this pattern if you've not done a lining before.

No printing layout diagram for A4 printing

I have just bought this pattern and expected to be able to print straightaway.  Unfortunately, the instructions don’t include a pattern print layout diagram for A4 printing.  The complete pattern package is 90 pages long for 2 versions. I don’t want to print the pattern pieces for version 2, but it is almost impossible to work out which pages to print and which aren’t needed. I have sent a message through the contact me email account which gives a 48 hour turnaround.  I’m very disappointed as I had scheduled today to get to the cutting out stage.

2 days later - with help from The Fold Line customer support (thanks Mel!) I have now cut out the required pieces for a calico.  As I have been sewing, I have seen that there no notches on the shoulders or neck pattern pieces (pages 2 and 6 of A4 version) despite reminders in the pattern booklet to match them carefully.
