Sew Over It Emma Dress

Buy the Emma Dress sewing pattern from Sew Over It. A great everyday fit-and-flare knit dress, Emma features a form-fitting princess-seamed bodice with a lovely round neckline, a pretty pleated skirt and 3/4 length sleeves. The dress closes with an invisible zip in the centre back seam, but if your fabric has enough stretch and recovery, the zip can be omitted. Designed to be sewn in a stable, heavier weight knit such as ponte or scuba, Emma is easier to sew than you might think.

Suggested fabrics: Medium to heavy weight knit fabrics such as ponte di roma or scuba.

Fabric requirements: 

Sizes 6 – 20

1.15 m wide fabric: 2.3 - 2.7 m.

1.40 m wide fabric: 1.5 - 2.2 m.

Sizes 18 – 30

1.15 m wide fabric: not possible.

1.40 m wide fabric: 2.0 - 2.5 m.

Sizing: UK 6 – 20 and UK 18 – 30 (approx. UK 6 – 20 and UK 20 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size charts and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is split into two different blocks. The 6-20 size range is drafted for a B cup. The 18-30 size range is drafted for a D cup.
