Buy the Waistcoat sewing pattern from Puff and Pencil. This vest has a fitted silhouette, with room for further adjustment using the belt at the back. It has princess seams, and features a single faux welt pocket and a front button closure.

Suggested fabrics: This pattern is designed for woven fabrics. The designer recommends medium weight fabrics that have some structure but not too much. Fabrics such as linen, cotton twill and wool suiting work well.
The shell and lining of the vest are sewn in the same medium weight fabric. If you wish to use a slightly thicker fabric, such as denim, corduroy or velvet, you may wish to sew the lining in a lightweight to medium weight material.
Fabric requirements: 145 cm wide fabric: XXS-M, 120 cm // L-XL, 145 cm // XXL, 185 cm.
Sizing: XXS – XXL (approx. UK 6 – 24, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: Interfacing; 4 buttons, 1.8 cm diameter; belt buckle for 2.5 cm wide belt.
