The perfect addition to your spring or autumn wardrobe, the boxy Topstitch pattern features a trendy drop shoulder and two big front pockets, making it both stylish and functional. The placket has snap fasteners. The pattern can be made with or without sleeves.

The Box Sleeve has lots of volume and a wide cuff.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: 

Topstitch Vest: This pattern is designed for woven fabrics. Avoid fabrics with a soft drape, and choose a fabric with a bit of structure. Fabrics such as denim and canvas work well for this vest, as well as poplin for a softer indoor look.

Box Sleeve: This pattern is designed for woven fabrics. The designer recommends quilted fabric, denim or thick wool if you want to use the sleeve for a jacket, or lighter fabrics such as linen if you want to use the sleeve for a shirt.

Fabric requirements: 

Notions: Thread and topstitch/denim thread; 4 snap fasteners, 1-2 cm diameter; interfacing.
