Primrose Dawn Delvine Bralette PDF

Buy the Delvine Bralette sewing pattern from Primrose Dawn. Designed for low-stretch knits, Delvine is a high-neck bralette with bust darts, a variety of front lace overlay options, plain and lace cradles, and three back band styles.

The six front style options include a keyhole opening and four different lace overlays. Back options include a full-coverage princess-seam band with lace, straight back band with strap attachments, and a halter back. The cradle is lined, with cradle and band seams enclosed for comfort and a clean finish. The edges are finished with fold over elastic. This pattern requires straight and zigzag stitches.

Suggested fabrics: 

Self fabric: Low-stretch knits (less than 30% stretch) such as 15 denier tricot, bra tulle, sheer cup lining, nylon tricot, nylon chiffon, dazzle tricot. For fabrics with more stretch (such as liverpool or scuba), line the front with a more stable fabric or use the same fabric cut on the opposite grain. Wovens can also work, just cut the cups on the bias grain and the cradle on the straight grain.

Lining: Sheer cup lining, stabilised tricot, bra tulle. Needs to be lightweight and non-stretch.

Band: Powernet, techsheen.

Fabric requirements: Self fabric: 3/4 yd (0.7 m) // Powernet (Back I): 3/8 yd (0.4 m) // Powernet (Back J/K): 1/4 yd (0.2 m).

Sizing: US 30A - 42E (approx. UK 30B - 42G) // Underbust: 30" - 42" (76.2 - 106.7 cm) // Full bust: 31" - 47" (78.7 - 119.4 cm). Please check the size chart.

Notions: Fold over elastic (FOE); 1/2" (12 mm) strap elastic; 3/4" (19 mm) plush back elastic for band; 3-row hook and eye closure; 2 rings and 2 sliders, 1/2" (12 mm); G-hook, 1/2" (12 mm) for Back K; stretch lace trim for Fronts C, D, E, F, Cradle H and Back I.
