Buy the Smultron Dress sewing pattern from Paradise Patterns. Smultron is a fun, voluminous dress that's easy to adapt to different lengths and works with an impressive variety of fabrics.

View A is a short (above the knee), half circle, bias cut dress with a V-neck yoke, spaghetti straps, and an elastic back. View B is a short (above the knee), half circle, bias cut dress with a slightly curved neckline, spaghetti straps, and back ties.

You can of course mix it up and put the back ties on View A, or the elastic back on View B. The instructions also show you how to lengthen and shorten the dress and add optional tiers.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: Some of the pattern pieces are divided across two A0 sheets. The A0 sheets will need to be joined with no overlap.

Suggested fabrics: Almost any woven fabric. The designer's favourites include light to mid-weight linen, cotton, chambray, rayon challis and twill, taffeta, and seersucker. The bias cut looks especially nice in a gingham or check fabric.
