Buy the Honeygirl Lounge Set sewing pattern from Paradise Patterns. This feminine set pairs a fitted camisole top with relaxed elastic-waist bottoms for a stylish and comfy look. The set has been designed specifically for cotton pointelles and rib knits without spandex.

Inspired by the cute camisoles we wore as children, the View A top has ruched detailing at the bust. View B has a classic scoop neck. Both views are fitted, with a cropped or hip length hem.

The relaxed bottoms sit at your natural waist and have a gathered waistband with lots of ease for extra comfort. The shorts version has a slightly curved tulip hem, while the long pants have a straight hem. Optional buttonholes are marked if you wish to add a waist tie.

Sewing level: Confident beginner

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: One of the pattern pieces has been split (to fit on the A0 sheet) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: The camisole is fitted and designed for low recovery knits. The best examples are pointelle knits, cotton double knits, and rib knits with less than 4% spandex content. It will not work well with high spandex knits. Because the bottoms are quite relaxed, they can be made with many lightweight fabrics with good drape, both knits and wovens. You can make the bottoms in cotton jersey, cotton voile, viscose, and silk under 6 oz/yd² or 205 gsm.

Fabric requirements:

Shorts and camisole: 46" (116 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 2.5 yd (0.9 - 2.3 m) // 58" (147 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 2 yd (0.9 - 1.8 m).

Pants and camisole: 46" (116 cm) wide fabric: 2 - 4 yd (1.8 - 3.7 m) // 58" (147 cm) wide fabric: 1.8 - 3.6 yd (1.6 - 3.3 m).

Sizing: A – P (approx. UK 6 – 34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Ballpoint needle; 3/4" (2 cm) wide knitted elastic // Optional: bow for front neckline; drawstring; tear away interfacing or small piece of woven fabric for buttonholes.

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (15 pages for camisole only, 31 pages for sizes A-I, or 42 pages for all sizes); A0 copy shop pattern (3 sheets) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: Yes.
