Named Syli Dress and Blouse

Buy the Syli Dress and Blouse sewing pattern from Named. The Syli Dress and Blouse are practical everyday garments with generous gathering and a narrow pleat at the chest. Both variations have a bound neckline with a back slit that closes with ties. The dress features striking pleat details on the sleeves and hem, side pockets, and gathered cuffs with tie closures.

Suggested fabrics: Choose a light to medium weight, non-stretch fabric. Depending on the desired result, you can select either a low-drape fabric or a fabric with a little drape. Cotton, linen, tencel and rayon shirtings and dress-weight fabrics are recommended. 

Fabric requirements: The fabric requirements include a 5% allowance for shrinkage. Note that the fabric consumption may be greater for fabrics with a pattern and for fabrics that need to be cut in one direction.

Dress: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 315 - 390 cm (3 1/2 - 4 1/4 yd) // 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 375 - 445 cm (4 1/8 - 4 7/8 yd).

Blouse: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 165 - 220 cm (1 3/4 - 2 3/8 yd) // 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 210 - 255 cm (2 1/4 - 2 3/4 yd).

Sizing: XS – XXL (approx. UK 4/6 – 26, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern comes with plenty of ease. Check the finished measurements for your size and, if you wish, select a size smaller than usual.
