Buy the Child/Teen Hopper Trousers sewing pattern from Little Rosy Cheeks. Hopper is an easy to make pull-on trouser with a kick flare. An elasticated waist and two fun pocket options make Hopper super comfortable, funky and versatile. View A has heart pockets. View B has faux welt pockets.

Suggested fabrics: Hopper should be made with medium weight stretch fabrics with no less than 20% stretch. Ponte Roma, French terry/loop back jersey or 8 oz. stretch denim are ideal. Cotton based jerseys would give the trouser a legging feel - you could even make a matching Poca tee!

Fabric requirements: 

3 - 8 years: 110 cm wide fabric: 90 cm // 150 cm wide fabric: 75 cm.

9 - 14 years: 110 cm wide fabric: 140 cm // 150 cm wide fabric: 110 cm.

Note: Size 8/9 falls into the fabric requirements for 9 - 14 years.

Sizing: 3/4 - 13/14 years. Please check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 2.5 cm (1") wide non-roll elastic (see chart); stretch interfacing for the front and back waistband, approx. 25 cm.
