Suggested fabrics:
Fabric 1 (main outer fabric): Mats: Natural fabrics. Light/medium weight canvas, linen, Tana lawn, quilting cotton, twill, duck, denim, thin tweed // Napkins: Lightweight. Tana lawn, linen. Note: If the fabric selected for the table mats is not suitable for napkins, use Fabric 4 for the napkins instead.
Fabric 2 (lining fabric): Can be the same as Fabric 1. Mats: Natural fabrics. Light/medium weight. Tana lawn, cotton, linen, bamboo, quilting cotton, twill, canvas, drill // Napkins: Lightweight. Tana lawn, linen. Note: If the fabric selected for the table mats is not suitable for napkins, use Fabric 4 for the napkins instead.
Fabric 3 (interlining fabric, to use with quilted mat base or fine top fabric, will not be visible): Natural fabrics. Cambric cotton, muslin, calico, quilting cotton.
Fabric 4 (soft outer fabric, napkins only): Tana lawn, soft linen, fine soft cottons. Can be used instead of Fabric 1 and/or Fabric 2 for napkin front and/or back.
Fabric 6 (wadding): Medium weight dense quilting wadding. Bamboo, cotton, wool.
Fabric requirements: The lengths are generous for some of the fabrics (quantities rounded up).
