Buy the Belmont Pack and Pouch sewing pattern from Klum House. The Belmont Pack and Pouch is two projects in one! This durable, all-fabric bag converts from tote to backpack and can be tucked away inside the matching zipper pouch for easy carrying. It features convertible fabric straps, a two-compartment exterior pocket, French seams, extra-strong stitches for durability, and boxed corners for plenty of carrying capacity.

Note: All Klum House patterns are designed for success on a home sewing machine. You do not need a fancy sewing machine or industrial equipment to make these “domestic machine friendly” patterns.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Choose a fabric that will give the bag plenty of structure, such as a 9-12 oz. canvas, waxed canvas, or denim with no stretch. The designer’s favourite fabric to work with is waxed canvas for its structure, durability, and water resistance.

Fabric requirements:

Main: 60" (152 cm) wide fabric: 1/2 yd (0.5 m).

Accent: 60" (152 cm) wide fabric: 1/2 yd (0.5 m).

Or 1 yd (0.9 m) of one fabric for a monochrome bag/pouch.

Sizing: 

Finished bag dimensions: 15" H x 11" W x 4" D (38 cm x 28 cm x 10 cm).

Finished pouch dimensions: 6" H x 9" W (15 cm x 23 cm).
