Super comfy shorts

This was first Itch to Stitch pattern and I was really impressed with the detailed instructions guiding you through all the steps. I made the shorts version for a walking holiday. I was attracted to them by the elasticated waist and I was not disappointed they are super comfy and perfect for walking. I graded between two sizes, otherwise making no adjustments and got a perfect fit. Take care that you sew the waist elastic thoroughly to the fabric. I didn't and ended up having to unpick and resew (my mistake nothing to do with the pattern!). I am planning to make the full trousers at some point.

Sequoia Cargos & Shorts

Love these pants! Instructions were very easy to follow. The waistband is very interesting. I've never constructed one this way. I like how it came out. My husband thought I bought them. I plan on making a few more for vacation. I rarely make more than one of a pattern. I only made a few alterations. I had to take the waist in quite a bit. Loved installing the hardware snaps. Really easy but such a professional look.
