Buy the Fisterra Top and Dress sewing pattern from Itch to Stitch. The Fisterra looks just as good with sneakers and a shopping tote as it does with kitten heels and a martini. The pattern includes options for a peplum top and midi dress, as well as cup size options for the perfect fit.

- Relaxed bodice with elastic-shirred back waistband
- V neck finished with facings
- Shoulder seam moved forward as yoke seam
- Gathers at front yoke seam and waist
- Short sleeve with pleated sleeve cap

Suggested fabrics: 

Primary fabric: Use lightweight woven fabric with no stretch such as lightweight linen, chambray, lawn, crepe, shirting and challis.

Lining: Use very lightweight woven fabric with no stretch such as voile, batiste and viscose/rayon lining fabric.

Fabric requirements: 

Top: 54″ (135 cm) wide fabric: Short sleeve, 1 1/4 - 2 1/4 yd (120 - 200 cm) // Short sleeve with pleated cuff, 1 1/4 - 2 1/2 yd (120 - 230 cm) // Lining, 7/8 - 1 3/4 yd (80 - 160 cm).

Dress: 54″ (135 cm) wide fabric: Short sleeve, 1 7/8 - 3 1/4 yd (170 - 300 cm) // Short sleeve with pleated cuff, 1 7/8 - 3 5/8 yd (170 - 330 cm) // Lining, 1 3/8 - 2 7/8 yd (130 - 260 cm).

Sizing: US 00 – 40 (approx. UK 6/8 – 34/36, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Sizes 00-20 have A, B, C, D and DD cups. Sizes 22-40 have B, C, D and DD cups.

A note from the designer about bust cup options: To determine your cup size, subtract the circumference of your over bust from the circumference of the fullest part of your bust. If the rounded difference is 1″ (2.5 cm), use A cup; 2″ (5 cm), use B cup; 3″ (7.5 cm), use C cup; 4″ (10 cm), use D cup; 5″ (12.5 cm), use DD cup.

Notions: Lightweight fusible woven or weft insertion interfacing; one spool (11 yd/10 m) of elastic thread.

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step illustrated instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (59 pages for sizes 00-20, 68 pages for sizes 16-40, but you only need to print the pages for your cup size); A0 copy shop pattern (5 sheets for sizes 00-20, 6 sheets for sizes 16-40, but you only need to print the sheets for your cup size) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: No.
