PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: The pattern will show both the cutting lines (in black) and stitching lines (in pale grey). Also, on the G - P pattern only, one of the pattern pieces has been split (to fit on the A0 sheet) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight fabrics such as linen, linen blends, cotton, wool suiting and lightweight denim. If you would like to use something lightweight, such as viscose/rayon or silk, consider fusing the placket pieces and sleeve pieces for additional stability. Keep in mind that the weight of the fabric will determine the amount of structure in the finished garment. Softer fabrics will give the garment drape and movement, while stiffer fabrics will create a more voluminous and structured silhouette.

Fabric requirements: You will require more fabric if lengthening.

Sizes A – J: 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 2.2 - 2.7 m (2.4 - 3 yd) // 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 2 - 2.4 m (2.2 - 2.7 yd).

Sizes G – P: 115 cm (45") wide fabric (G - M only): 2.7 - 3.2 m (3 - 3.5 yd) // 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 2.2 - 2.6 m (2.5 - 2.9 yd).

Sizing: A – J and G – P (approx. UK 6 – 26/28 and UK 18/20 – 44, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size charts and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is available in two size brackets: sizes A-J and sizes G-P. The sizes A-J pattern has been drafted for a B cup bust (5 cm/2" difference between high bust and full bust measurements). The sizes G-P pattern has been drafted for a D cup bust (10 cm/4" difference between high bust and full bust measurements).

If your measurements are in the overlap section of the size charts (G-J), the designer suggests using the G-P pattern to achieve the best fit.

This pattern has been drafted for a height of 170 cm (5'7"). Use the LENGTHEN/SHORTEN lines on the pattern to make alterations to the length.

Notions: 32 mm (1 1/4") single fold bias tape, 0.7 m (0.8 yd) for sizes A-J or 0.8 m (0.9 yd) for sizes G-P; lightweight fusible interfacing, 0.5 m (0.5 yd) for either size range // Optional: 32 mm (1 1/4") single fold bias tape for finishing inside placket edge, 1 m (1-1.1 yd).

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (40 pages for sizes A-J, 47 pages for sizes G-P); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets for sizes A-J, 3 sheets for sizes G-P) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: No.

Note: For beginners, the designer sells a Fit Kit with additional fitting advice (designer's website only).
