Buy the Milor T-shirt sewing pattern from I AM Patterns. I am Milor, a classic tee with a delicate boat neckline. You can sew me in four versions, as my neckline can be finished in two ways (with or without bias tape) and I have two sleeve lengths. I am easy to sew and easy to wear. In a stripy fabric for a weekend at the seaside or in a plain jersey underneath a jacket for a relaxed meeting, I am perfect everywhere you go.

A coordinating men's pattern is available here.

Not that great...

Pattern comes with an instructions in English and French. Instructions are very short and there are some steps missing- for example the final steps on how to hem the bottom of the top is omitted both both the French and English version. I just did a 2.5cm hem like the sleeves.

When sewing the sleeves and side seams, the English version mentions matching notches. Not mentioned in the French version and also not marked anywhere on the pattern, so I marked my own.

In terms of sizing and fit, based on the measurement table it suggested I should go for a 46 but after measuring the front & back pieces, I went one size down- would have been far too big otherwise. The sleeves are very long. I took 5 cms off but could have removed another 1.5cm.

The pattern pieces have no marking for shortening or lengthening.

I found the neckline to be a nuisance to sew- after sewing the 1cm hem as instructed, the shoulder seam looked very short and the width at the front & back did not match up so I had to improvise.

I don't think I would recommend this pattern, unless it's for an experienced sewer who can identify all the missing/badly explained steps and adjust accordingly.
