It features high cut shoulder straps and a full button down back. The pattern includes a separate front piece with a darted full bust adjustment for sewing cup sizes above a C. Construction includes French seams and binding for a beautiful finish inside and out! The Trevi is perfect for wearing with skinny jeans and heels for a night out or layering with a blazer for the office. The dress option can be made formal or casual depending on the type of fabric you use and your accessories. You’ll love having this versatile top and dress in your wardrobe!

Suggested fabrics: Lightweight drapey woven fabric like rayon challis, double gauze, silk, and poly blends. Not suitable for 100% cotton fabrics.
Fabric requirements: All widths: Top, 2 yd (1.8 m) // Dress, 2.5 yd (2.3 m) // Allow an extra 0.5 yd (0.5 m) if making bias tape.
Sizing: US 2 – 22 (approx. UK 8 – 22). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: 1 yd lightweight fusible non-woven interfacing; six 1/2" buttons for the top OR eight 1/2" buttons for the dress; 3 yd wide (7/8") single fold bias tape // Optional: Fray Check®.
PDF pattern includes: Instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (35 pages); 36″ wide copy shop pattern (1 sheet); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets). This pattern has layers so you can print only the size(s) you need.

I'm very pleased with this dress. It's a well drafted pattern and offers a version with a dart for anyone who would've needed a full bust adjustment. I didn't use that though. Mine is a size 2, dress version - the pattern also has a top option. All edges are bound and it's a very simple and easy project. I love the button back as well.
Where it has lost a star for me is on the fabric requirements. All sizes are listed as one blanket amount and I only needed half for the size I made.
The instructions are great, as I'm used to from Hey June, and this will be a great layering piece.

This may just be my perfect summer top; stylish, cool, covering my way-too-easy-to-sunburn chest, and looks equally good over shorts or jeans.
I made this up in a mid weight rayon and it was the perfect choice. The pattern is cut beautifully so that it's not just sack like but flows under the chest a little so you don't lose your shape but it's still loose enough to be cool and forgiving of holiday dinners!
The button back adds a lovely detail, although in this bright print I didn't go for contrast buttons as there was enough going on.
I made this up in a couple of hours and I will definitely make it again.
