Folkwear 101 Gaza Dress

Buy the 101 Gaza Dress sewing pattern from Folkwear. This dress is an exact duplicate of the garment worn for centuries by village women in Gaza. The loose-fitting, ankle-length dress has long sleeves, slightly narrowed at the wrists, three side panels on each side, shoulder and front yokes, and a front split opening. Two optional embroidery designs are included for the front yoke, as well as suggestions for other authentic decorations.

Sizing: Small - Tall (5' - 5'11") / US 6 - 18 (approx. UK 6 - 14). Please check the size chart (for US 6 - 18 only).

Notions: Materials for embroidery: #10 waste canvas or Penelope canvas (cross-stitch scrim), 18" (46 cm) square, 10 holes per inch (per 2.5 cm) - do not purchase mono canvas; #20 or smaller crewel needle; embroidery thread.
