Suggested fabrics: The Penny Jacket can be made from various fabrics depending on the look you want. You can use a thicker jersey, like a ponte di roma. Neoprene is also an option, which will make the jacket look more voluminous. Faux fur was used for the sample. A fabric with a supple drape, like crêpe or viscose, with a (floral) print is also great. This will give you a summertime version. Whatever the case, make sure that the fabric isn’t too stiff.
Fabric requirements: 140 cm wide fabric: Main, 170 - 220 cm // Lining (optional), 100 - 185 cm.
Sizing: XS – XXXL (approx. UK 6 – 28/30). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: Thread; iron-on fusible interlining, 85 cm; 3 snaps, 1 cm diameter.
