Fibre Mood Meryll Dress

Buy the Meryll Dress sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. Totally now, but with a flourish of folklore. Meryll steals the show with its charming puff sleeves and ravishing godets. The narrow casing, tightened with a fabric tie – or a cord, if you like – gives elegant waist definition. Bias tape is used to deftly finish the round neckline, which has a keyhole and button loop closure at the back.

Suggested fabrics: Suitable options for Meryll include a range of cottons, such as voile, poplin, broderie anglaise, chambray, etc. However, more drapey fabrics, such as silk (satin), lyocell, crepe, and double gauze also work well.

Fabric requirements: 110 cm wide fabric: 335 - 440 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 240 - 350 cm.

Sizing: XS – XXXL (approx. UK 6 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and pattern measurements.

Notions: Thread; iron-on interfacing, max. 20 cm; 1 button, 1.5 cm diameter; elastic, 0.5 cm wide, 60 - 84 cm (note the elastic length is merely indicative and depends on the type of elastic); cord/tie, 170 - 215 cm (optional, as you can use the included pattern piece to make your own tie).
