Buy the Claudie Skirt sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. Claudie is swingin', and not just a little! Claudie is pure rock 'n' roll with a 360° swirl. She features a high waist with a straight waistband, invisible zip closure and handy hidden pockets in the side seams. Claudie is mid-length but can easily be made shorter or longer. Time to twirl!

Suggested fabrics: The options are nearly endless as long as you pick something with no stretch. Get started with fabric with a fluid drape, such as viscose (satin) or viscose crepe. Or select something with more structure, such as poplin, baby rib corduroy, suede, denim, flannel, gabardine, or tweed. Solids and prints both work. Keen to wear an ultra edgy skirt this winter? We’ve got one word for you. Leather! And for a party-ready version of the Claudie, lurex is where it's at.

Fabric requirements: 110 cm wide fabric: 310 - 375 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 260 - 340 cm. Alternative layouts are given to reduce fabric consumption (by cutting the fabric unfolded, see chart in image gallery).

Sizing: EU 32 – 58 / US 0 – 26 / UK 4 – 30 (approx. UK 6 – 26/28, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread; iron-on interfacing, max. 30 cm; 1 button, 2 cm diameter; invisible zip, 20 cm.
